Former Fox News foreign correspondent Conor Powell is freelancing with CNN — working for CNN Newsource primarily, CNN’s affiliate news service.
Powell was with Fox for nine years. He left the network almost a year ago, saying at the time, “Those of you who have spoken to me in recent months, you will understand why I am leaving FNC. To my many friends at the channel I wish you the best of luck.”
A source at the time told TheWrap he left because he was “uncomfortable with the direction of the news organization in recent months. Fewer news shows. More opinion shows. Less resources for reporters to report.”
Powell is out covering Tropical Storm Barry for CNN’s affiliates.

Too much opinion huh? Well yes, it is everywhere. But left for CNN, that is laughable. I hope he finds his niche in journalism and removes all those news opinions at CNN. Journalism is dead if you ask me. It is all about pretty faces on camera with a politically correct opinion. I am going to read some real Journalism. A book with truth in it. or out and out made up story. But at least I know the difference.
