Miami anchor Shyann Malone joins HLN

WPLG weekend anchor and reporter Shyann Malone is moving to the CNN Center in Atlanta, joining HLN. TVSpy reports she will serve as a fill-in host for Weekend Express and will also serve as a freelance anchor across HLN’s other weekday programming.

She joined WPLG in April 2015.

Malone graduated from Bowling Green State University, where she played Division I volleyball and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication.

    I wonder what the plan is with Susan Hendricks then? She normally fills in on WXP. Hopefully, Headline News expands weekend programming around one of these ladies.
