CNN adds two reporters to beef up coverage of Mueller’s investigation

CNN president Jeff Zucker announced the addition of two new reporters to continue its reporting on special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into collusion with the Trump campaign and Russia, reports TVNewser.

Mark Morales joins CNN from Newsday, where he covered crime on Long Island, specifically the MS-13 gang and the growing opioid epidemic. He begins working with CNN as of today.

Also, Erica Orden joins CNN as a reporter covering the Special Counsel investigation and law enforcement. Most recently, Orden covered the investigation for The Wall Street Journal, where she has been a reporter since 2010. She previously covered white-collar crime for WSJ, focusing on the U.S. attorney’s offices for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, reporting mainly on securities fraud and public corruption cases.

Orden begins July 9, according to the report.
