In last night’s much-talked about gun town hall with the Florida students, local politicians, activists, and NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch, Loesch claims she wouldn’t have been able to get out of the event safely were it not for security.
“I had to have a security detail to get out,” she said of the town hall event, according to Real Clear Politics. “I wouldn’t be able to exit that if I didn’t have a private security detail. There were people rushing the stage and screaming burn her. And I came there to talk solutions and I still am going to continue that conversation on solutions as the NRA has been doing since before I was alive.”
CNN said in a statement, according to Erik Wemple, “Security was a top priority for us on behalf of all of our participants at last night’s town hall. Our own security personnel accompanied Ms. Loesch from the stage, alongside her own private security, as we did for all of our guests.”
The town hall was the most-watched show last night in all of cable news.

While I oppose all threats of violence, I also realize that might happen when you take some of the positions she has taken.
Some in opposition to 80%-90% of the country. Some thought to unnecessarily put more student lives at risk — whether considered justified or not by her many supporters.
I’ll say one thing. The woman is absolutely fearless.
