Former CNN international correspondent Diana Magnay has joined Sky News as a Moscow bureau correspondent. She departed CNN in 2015 after fifteen years to pursue a master’s degree in International Peace and Security at the War Studies Department at Kings College London.
After she left the network, a source identified her as undergoing auditions at CNN’s London bureau for an anchoring gig.
With her degree now complete, she returned to Moscow, which was one of the beats she covered for CNN.
She said, “Thrilled to be joining Sky News as their Moscow Correspondent. So proud to be part of Sky’s stellar line-up of correspondents and a fascinating time to be in Russia!”
