CNN is shuffling around its executives’ jobs. Andrew Morse, who previously served as the general manager of CNN Digital and executive vice president of US newsgathering, will focus solely on CNN Digital, the network announced in a memo today, reports BuzzFeed’s Steven Perlberg.
Virginia Moseley, CNN’s senior vice president for Washington newsgathering and the deputy DC Bureau chief will step into Morse’s shoes. According to the memo, she will “lead the next phase of this ongoing evolution, further unifying our domestic reporting teams.”
Terence Burke, who was senior vice president of national news for the network, and has been with CNN since 1999, is departing.
