Drudge: Zucker “out” at CNN

Matt Drudge, the editor of the Drudge Report, came out with a cryptic message on Twitter today, predicting that CNN Worldwide president Jeff Zucker would soon be out the door.

To reportedly get back at CNN for its “unfair coverage,” some sources are saying that the DOJ is blocking the AT&T/Time Warner deal unless CNN is spun off. AT&T’s CEO, Randall Stephenson, denies this.

Yet Drudge’s tweet reads: “Jeff Zucker out either way at CNN, primetime ratings abysmal. Feud with President Trump too personal and ridiculous…”

A CNN spokesperson replied to the tweet, stating, “CNN is pacing to have its 2nd highest year in primetime since 2008 – behind only 2016 elex year. Those are the facts.”
