CNN International Newsroom anchor Hannah Vaughan Jones talks to the Sunday Times about her struggles with infertility, and that she and her husband, fellow TV anchor Lewis Vaughn Jones, are undergoing round 7 of in vitro fertilization treatments.
She isn’t talking about it now because she had an IVF breakthrough. No, she says, “You only ever hear of IVF patients once they have their “miracle” bump or bundle of joy. I wanted to be honest about the hell of going through something while I’m still going through it.”
“For the time being,” she writes, “I’m resilient enough to keep going” through the IVF treatments.
Her full essay can be read here without a Times subscription.
