President Trump’s advisor Sebastian Gorka, who appeared on The Lead at the beginning of February, hit at CNN anchor Jake Tapper, saying that his last Tuesday interview with Kellyanne Conway was “aggressive” and implying sexism.
“The tone was very disappointing. It was trying to treat a woman as a punching bag, really. It was clear,” Gorka said, according to a Salon report.
Gorka is referring to the interview where Tapper pushed Conway on her “Bowling Green massacre” remark.
A CNN spokesperson pushed back at Gorka’s insinuation, saying, “If Gorka or anyone else from the administration had been on The Lead that day they would have received the same interview. It’s disappointing to see any administration retreat into false claims of addressing the issues at hand.”
