Trump team thaws their icing out of CNN?

It has been reported that the Trump administration had blacklisted CNN, refusing to send an official to appear on the network’s Sunday show, State of the Union, two weeks running.

Following that Media Matters report, Politico followed up, quoting a White House official who confirmed they were icing out CNN.

“We’re sending surrogates to places where we think it makes sense to promote our agenda,” said a White House official, acknowledging that CNN is not such a place, but adding that the ban is not permanent.

Well, today, deputy assistant to the President of the United States, Sebastian Gorka, appeared on The Lead — which is anchored by Jake Tapper, who also anchors SOTU, the show the administration had been boycotting.
