Former Donald Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski is joining CNN as a political commentator, effective immediately, reports Politico.
It’s a salaried position and will make Lewandowski’s appearances exclusive to the network, according to the Politico report.
Following his thirty-minute interview with CNN’s chief political correspondent Dana Bash on Monday, Lewandowski went straight from the set and into a long meeting in the office of Barbara Levin, Vice President of Communications for CNN, according to a source who witnessed Lewandowski enter the meeting, reports Politico.
He joins the stable of paid Trump surrogates, including Jeffrey Lord and Kayleigh McEnany. The network also has a group of non-paid commentators, such as Scottie Nell Hughes.
