Chloe Melas is joining CNN’s media and entertainment team as a reporter. She joins the network from her position as a reporter at Hollywood Life, a site she helped launch in 2009.
She has previously appeared on HLN and CNN International in the past.
Prior to her gig at Hollywood Life, she worked for CNN as a news assistant.
After nearly seven years, tomorrow will be my last day at HollywoodLife — I'm moving on to a new position where I'll be a reporter for CNN's new Media + Entertainment team. Although this is a very exciting opportunity, I will miss my @HollywoodLife family. There are countless memories that I could list, but it would take more words than IG would allow. From helping launch the site in 2009 to getting to co-host a TV show on VH1, I have had so many amazing opportunities. I want to thank two people who have been instrumental in my career — my editor @Bonnie_Fuller and our CEO Jay Penske, who have believed in me since day one. Another massive thank you to my husband, family and friends who have been there through everything. “Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far it is possible to go.” T.S.
