On tonight’s Erin Burnett OutFront, GOP presidential candidate Governor John Kasich denied any rumors that he was still in the 2016 race only to end up being GOP frontrunner Donald Trump’s vice president.
And then it took a turn for the weird. Kasich offered, “You could be my vice president,” he mused. “You’re pretty smart, you know all the economics… you’re articulate. You know, are you available?”
“What a proposition I certainly did not expect,” Burnett smoothly replied, laughing.
On Twitter, she said that she “never expected to be asked to be VP.”
