Angela Rye joins CNN as political commentator
In addition to CNN’s marquee hiring this morning of former NBC News anchor David Gregory, CNN has also signed Angela Rye, a frequent guest on HLN’s Morning Express as well as CNN’s daytime programming.
Rye will serve as a political commentator for the network based in the network’s Washington, DC bureau.
As CNNMoney’s Brian Stelter notes, Rye, a former executive director of the Congressional Black Caucus, heads a political advocacy firm called IMPACT Strategies.
