CNN correspondent Sara Ganim got struck with a snowball early this morning while covering the snowstorm in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, around 1:40 am ET.
Remarkably, Ganim handled it very well. “This, this is what people out here are doing,” she said immediately after being struck. “Guys, we’re good, thank you,” she said slowly, clearly hoping to dissuade them and get back to her reporting.
“Thankfully, this is not the norm,” she added, referring to those who threw the snowballs at her. “Just two citizens who wanted to be on live television tonight.”
