CNN anchor Poppy Harlow faints during live show
Subbing for Carol Costello on CNN Newsroom, six-months pregnant anchor Poppy Harlow passed out during her show.
She began to slur her speech and then she passed out, causing some of her colleagues to audibly gasp.
As her speech slurred, the network cut away to a commercial and then aired a report from media correspondent Brian Stelter. When the camera returned to her, Harlow explained that she “got a little hot and passed out for a moment.”
Christine Romans then took over Newsroom from Harlow while she was taken to the hospital.
