CNN’s Democratic debate last night set a record for Democratic debates with 15.3 million total viewers. The debate had a household rating of 11.2, meaning 11% of Americans with a TV were tuned in to the debate. In the key 25-54 demographic, the debate averaged 4.8 million.
The previous Democratic record was set in 2008 on ABC with 10.7 million total viewers.
CNN’s live stream for the debate also broke a record with 980,000 concurrent streamers.
