Despite Democratic debate moderator Anderson Cooper saying he planned on incorporating questioners Dana Bash and Juan Carlos Lopez (along with Don Lemon, who was said to be asking Facebook questions) more than Jake Tapper did in the previous debate, that really didn’t happen.
Bash may have been given more face time than in the previous debate.
But CNN en Espanol anchor Juan Carlos Lopez was not given hardly any face time whatsoever. He was given two brief segments — and he asked a question on immigration and marijuana.
Meanwhile, Lemon’s first question was a question about race.
Lopez isn’t some under-qualified person thrust on a debate stage; he is a Washington, DC-based chief correspondent for CNNE, and anchors Directo USA, a political newsmagazine interview show.
