Former CNN anchor busted for drunk driving in Hamptons

Former CNN International anchor/business correspondent Felicia Taylor was busted for driving with a blood alcohol level of almost there times the legal limit after side-swiping a car in the Hamptons, reports the New York Post.

Taylor, who anchored World Business Today on CNNI, was reportedly so drunk they took her to the hospital for “medical evacuation,” the police tell the Post.

She was charged with aggravated DWI.

In response, her lawyer Edward Burke Jr told the Post, “My client could not have fully cooperated with the authorities in the respectable manner that she did if she were under such influence. The breathalyzer was administered three times . . . proof of an inaccurate reading.”

  1. Sometimes a good lawyer can raise doubts about police misconduct and get their client off. Not in my case as jury foreman who found a DUI airline pilot guilty. The judge later thanked me as this was the second time the guy crossed his bench.
