In a town hall conducted today, CNN staffers reportedly grilled, according to TheWrap, CNN Worldwide president Jeff Zucker over the all-Trump, all the time method that the network has been endlessly employing. (Which resulted in Trump insulting the network’s morning show this morning.)
One staffer asked Zucker about CNN’s decision to bump Anderson Cooper’s Hurricane Katrina special for Don Lemon’s Trump coverage. “On Katrina he felt it was better to run it when Anderson was back anchoring,” the insider said, recounting Zucker’s answer. Zucker also reportedly defended the move by saying the ratings for the special were strong.
For the network’s overall Trump coverage, Zucker reportedly responded “we are not perfect.”
