Trump’s criticism of Hugh Hewitt won’t affect his CNN debate questioning

Conservative radio show host Hugh Hewitt will be asking questions during the September 16 debate alongside Dana Bash and moderator Jake Tapper.

Hewitt got into a spat yesterday with Donald Trump, and this morning Trump said on Morning Joe that Hewitt was a “third-rate announcer.”

Despite all that, in a statement to the Huffington Post’s Michael Calderone, Hewitt insisted, “His critique won’t change my debate questions or prep.”

Denying he was actually ‘gotcha’ questions, Hewitt said, “I think yesterday’s question set was fair.”

Maybe instead of Megyn Kelly vs Donald Trump, this debate will be Donald Trump vs Hugh Hewitt…
