Fresh off of retweeting pictures of fallen servicemembers over the Memorial Day weekend, Jake Tapper initiated a Twitter-auction with the proceeds to be donated to Defenders of Freedom.
The bidding started at $100 for a Pitch Perfect 1 and 2 poster, autographed by the film’s producer, Elizabeth Banks.
As it turned out, Maggie Pearson bid $600, and another donor offered on an additional $550, but permitting her to get the autographed posters.
So Tapper’s Twitter-auction raised an impressive $1150.
