Erin McPike has left CNN

Erin McPike has left CNN, where she most recently served as a Washington-based correspondent. Until recently, she had served as the unofficial White House correspondent on the weekends.

She joined the network in January 2013, and at the time, DC bureau chief and SVP Sam Feist said in a statement: “I’m thrilled to announce that Erin McPike will join CNN next week as a general assignment correspondent. Erin comes to CNN from Real Clear Politics where she covered the 2012 presidential campaign. Erin has also worked as a political embed for NBC News and a political reporter for National Journal.”
