On Sunday morning, CNN’s former DC bureau chief Frank Sesno sat in for Brian Stelter, who was out, ill.
Sesno was among the few chosen to host Reliable Sources after Howard Kurtz left the network for Fox News in 2013. At the time, Politico’s Dylan Byers reported that Stelter and Sesno were the likely finalists.
Of course… it was Stelter won.
But this Sunday, it was Sesno who won, compared to Stelter’s past few weeks. FTVLive reports:
The Nielsen numbers show that the Sesno hosted show beat Stelter’s last three weeks in demo and his last two in total viewers.
