CNN has added Sara Murray of the Wall Street Journal to its growing team of political reporters. Just yesterday, CNN added Nia-Malika Henderson of the Washington Post.
Murray will be a reporter for CNN’s TV and digital platforms.
On Twitter, she announced her move:
Fishbowl DC obtained the memo from political director David Chalian, announcing her hiring:
Good morning –
I’m thrilled to let you all know that Sara Murray is joining CNN’s political team as a reporter covering the 2016 campaign filing for both our television and digital platforms.
Many of you are familiar with Sara’s stellar work at the Wall Street Journal where she has been a digital journalist and anchor for WSJ’s digital network.
Prior to joining the video team, Sara covered the Romney campaign in 2012 for the WSJ where she broke news and provided smart insight into the top command of the campaign with in-depth profiles.
Sara’s addition to our ranks makes the best political team on television and online that much better.
Please join me in welcoming Sara to the CNN family. She will start with us on April 13.
