Ashleigh Banfield tosses aside news anchor hat
CNN’s Ashleigh Banfield has had a rocky ride the past few years, switching from news anchor to opinionator back to news anchor… and expecting everyone to accept that.
Embracing that, CNN renamed her show from CNN Newsroom to Legal View with Ashleigh Banfield (apparently deciding that though she is no attorney, she was still a good enough legal commentator).
Today, she apparently tossed her impartial hat to the side while reporting on the Jodi Arias trial (which HLN has been covering wall-to-wall since 11am ET).
According to the Daily Caller’s Betsy Rothstein, two of Ashleigh’s guests opined:
“I think there’s a possibility she could get out,” suggested HLN’s Nancy Grace, who has relentlessly covered the trial of Arias, who was found guilty of murdering her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander in his home in Mesa, Ariz.
CNN Senior Legal Analyst Jeffrey Toobin disagreed. “She’s not going anywhere,” he said. “She shouldn’t go anywhere. It’s a very just resolution in this case.”
But Ashleigh took it another step…
“I am going to go out on a limb here and say she is just a terrible person,” the news anchor said. “I spent that time covering that case as well. She’s one of the worst of the worst.”
Don’t worry. By tomorrow, she’ll have her straight news anchor hat on — and by the end of that show, she’ll have tossed it aside…again.
good for her. Ashleigh is right. If you’re going to cover these lurid cases (which everyone does now) there’ s nothing wrong with that.
Actually, that was a pretty accurate description of Toobin.

Amazing, how misleading the People, is just a Business Decision. It’s like, Entertainment is the News. What does everyone Think. Not,what matters. Opinions keep the money coming. And since News is now,Airtime to be sold,be prepared for so much information it means Nothing.
